Engineer- Electrical (I,II, III, or SR)

We are currently seeking an Engineer-Project (I, II, III, or Sr) for our South Fort Mead, Florida location. The position is responsible for providing engineering services to efficiently manage capital projects from inception through completion by following Mosaic's CPM system. This includes safety, planning, scheduling, design, material and labor procurement, construction coordination, cost control and reporting. Supervise the activities of contract engineers, designers and contractors as needed to accomplish project goals. Fully engage with applicable Mosaic personnel in all activities.
What will you do?
Develop project scopes, cost estimates, specifications, write capital requests, and purchase requisitions needed to execute capital projects
Direct and coordinate activities of contract engineering companies, onsite construction contractors, vendors and internal resources to accomplish the project goals. Review safe work procedures and audit ongoing construction activities of contractors on site
Develop RFQ packages, coordinate bidding activities and perform technical evaluations and provide recommendations. Prepare reports and/or make presentations regarding items such as project safety performance, scheduling and costs
Be vigilant of issues and conditions that can affect their fellow workers
Report any issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employees
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Chemical Engineering or related Engineering degree is required. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Engineer I
0-2 years of experience in heavy industrial maintenance, reliability or operations. Co-op experience is preferred
Engineer II
2+ years of related experience. (related experience may consist of engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management)
Engineer III
5+ years of related experience. (related experience may consist of engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management)
Engineer Sr
10+ years or more of related experience. (related experience may consist of engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management)
Required for ALL Levels:
MS Office products, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Primavera (or similar software) experience.
Excellent written and communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management.
Must demonstrate ability to influence others; requires strong leadership qualities, and team building.
Manage and control project costs and schedule by ensuring that effective project controls are in place and functioning properly.
Providing coordination between design, procurement, and/or construction for integration of technical content and schedule activities.
Preferred for ALL Levels:
SAP/Maximo application experience
Industrial chemical plant or mining facility project management experience
PE, PMI certification
Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors occasionally exposed to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
